The Hobbywing 3A UBEC is a compact and efficient switch-mode DC-DC regulator designed to provide stable voltage for your receiver, gyro, and servos. Compatible with 2–6 cell LiPo batteries or 5–18 cell NiMH/NiCd packs, this unit ensures consistent power delivery even in demanding RC applications. Compared to traditional linear UBECs, its switch-mode design delivers higher efficiency, lower heat, and more reliable performance. At just 11 grams, it’s lightweight and perfectly suited for RC helicopters, airplanes, and other high-performance models.

Engineered with an advanced switch-mode DC-DC regulator, the 3A UBEC offers reliable power management in a compact package. It provides selectable output voltages of 5V or 6V at a continuous 3A, giving flexibility for different setups. Built-in polarity reversal protection safeguards your electronics, while the shielded design and specialized filtering reduce electromagnetic interference for clean and stable operation. An LED indicator conveniently shows when the UBEC is functioning within its normal range.
